I thought I was doing ok with my fitness with regular walks in the neighborhood and an occasional yoga class. I still wasn’t happy with how I felt especially that I recently turned 60. Loyalty Fitness has shown me that I can do better, I feel stronger, more confident and I can do longer and faster power walks which has only added to my fitness. Years ago, my sister told me she was seeing a personal trainer and she was loving the experience. I was skeptical at first, but the more she told me about it, the more interested I became.

Well, it’s now six years later and Loyalty Fitness and the slow strength training routines they employ have changed my life!

I used to dread lugging the groceries in from the car. The crates of water, in particular, were just too heavy. Now they are no problem at all.

Walking up and down the stairs was always a struggle and very hard on my knees. Now I can navigate flights of stairs with ease.

My neck and my shoulders were always a problem. The ache was constant. Now that is no longer an issue for me.

Thanks to Lisa and Loyalty Fitness, I am stronger, more active and more self-sufficient than I was years ago. I live alone and I’m no longer concerned about my independence.

When the pandemic hit, my sister and I switched to virtual sessions. Our training with Lisa continued without missing a beat. It kept us in shape, both physically and mentally. Now I’m back at the studio. My sister is still virtual, though, because she moved to Arizona.

We are both sticking with Loyalty Fitness because it works!

Loyalty Fitness has been there for me at very important moments. First prehab for a knee replacement, then rehab afterward. Most recently, the weight loss challenge kicked me into gear after New Year’s. The workouts, encouragement, and accountability have made the difference. Going from XL to L feels as good as it looks. I can’t say enough about how Loyalty Fitness is helping me!

I am a 71 year old female with severe osteoarthritis. I had my hip replaced and I have knees that snap, crackle and pop. I have osteopenia in certain parts of my body I try my best to stay active and try to avoid taking meds if possible. By going to Loyalty Fitness and doing a strength training program is helping me to manage my age related health issues. I’m hoping to slow down my bone loss and strengthen my core muscles and improve my balance which is so important. The one on one personal training they offer is fantastic. My personal trainer, Lisa is so dedicated and helpful with my individual needs. I can’t say enough about how Loyalty Fitness is helping me.

I’m playing tennis again (and I’m stronger than ever)!

I came to Loyalty with a chronic case of tennis elbow. My chiropractor said I needed to get stronger. Luckily I was able to keep working on my fitness during the pandemic, first virtually with Che, one of Loyalty’s excellent trainers, and now back in the gym since its reopening. Che is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. He’s completely rehabilitated my elbow and I’ve doubled what I can do on some of the machines. Safety concerns? None. I wait in the car until he texts me that he has completely sanitized the gym since his last client. He wears a mask during our session, and there is only ever one client in the gym at a time. These are really stressful times and being able to go to the gym and play tennis again has been a lifesaver.

House Arrest – Try Virtual Training

New Yorkers and anyone else who is stuck in your house or “house arrest” as I have started calling it please do yourself a favor and train with these wonderful ladies!!!
Not only does it take your mind off of whats going on outside our doors it gives you energy to tackle some of those home projects you have been putting off!!
And instead of putting on some extra pounds you will be loosing or at the very least maintaining your current weight!!
We have all worked too hard to get where we are!
We are New Yorkers lets take back our control and come out better on the other side!!!!!

Best workout!!!!

I absolutely LOVE loyalty fitness!! I started going to loyalty fitness in February and I’ve always had trouble being consistent with a gym until now! I have seen amazing results, I am so happy with the way I look, and the muscle I’ve gained. All of the trainers are amazing. They are very helpful, push you to your fullest potential and individualize the workout to best suit your needs. I can’t say enough great things. I have worked with Mindy, Lisa, and Erin and they are all amazing. Erin is my new trainer and she is great. She changes things up all the time, which I love, and I always leave feeling like I got an amazing workout!
